Because my @wellbuttermybiscuit is the very best because she drives from HDVL to see us and paints my nails, puts a spa face mask on me that feels like I'm being hugged by a million cucumbers, snuggles my baby and brings me lunch. And we share our deepest joys and hurts and laugh like idiots. You can't have her- she's mine.

I love Mothers Day. Each year I ask to get away unplugged to the mountains with our little crew and then when we got back, the boys and I escaped downtown and listened to some tunes and walked until our legs were too tired. It's the greatest honor to be their Mama.

Finn Two Months

Sweet Finn, you are two months old! It truly has flown by. I’m savoring the one on one time I get with you while your big brothers are in school. But guard your loins because summer is comin’ and they are going to be all up in your space ALL.DAY.LONG.

Your stats are solid- I’m so grateful for the way you nurse and keep on growing.

Weight: 12 pounds

Length: 24 inches

Likes: Mama, the mirror, and snuggling outside in the sun.

Dislikes: Sleeping through the night, your 2 month shots, 5:00-6:30pm.

You have had a couple of folks stay with you while Mama and Daddy had to go to events. Your Gammy and Pops stayed with you while we had a dance, and then Miss Katie next door watched you while we had a Derby fundraiser. You handled both like a champ! I think it’s much harder on Mama than you.

You are smiling and cooing and I just fall more in love with you every day!
