Bud,

Your mama is awful at posting on time for your monthly check-ins! We celebrated your 3 month birthday in North Carolina with your Gammy and DooDooPops. You are so loved little boy. You weigh in about 12 pounds 12 ounces! At 3 months you are squirmier than ever. You love to play with your play mat (Thanks Sarah Lidbom!) and can now reach for the hanging toys and grab hold for dear life. You have quite the death grip dude. You love grabbing Mama’s hair and earrings, forcing me to wear a bun and studs most days. You are smiling up a storm and gave me your first belly laugh this month. I teared right up hoping for a million days of laughter with our family. You found your feet too mister! You are on a roll and speaking of roll… you don’t want to roll over. You are tolerating tummy time much better these days but still don’t want to roll over! I make you laugh by trying to act out how you roll… Roy does it too. I’m pretty sure you are just collecting all of your material for mocking us later.

You got off your wonderful sleep schedule on your trip to NC but after a week of Sleep Boot Camp, you are back on track! I truly can’t get enough of you these days. Everytime I think I couldn’t be more smitten with you, I wake up and want to run to your crib and just snuggle the mess out of you. You make my days here at home so joy-filled and fulfilling. I pray constantly that you know the depth of our love for you but even more so, that your daddy’s and my love doesn’t compare one bit to the depth of love that your Savior has for you.

Keep growing my boy, I’ll soak it all in! I love you to the moon and back.
