This weekend we got Bud’s FIRST Christmas Tree. We went to an awesome farm, Schilter’s Farm. They had a nativity scene, animals like PONIES (which I screamed over and over), and you cut your own tree!! It was really fun. We walked around and found the one we wanted, my handsome hottie sawed that mother down, and carried it with his muscle-y arms back to our car. SO FUN! We told Bud all about the nativity scene and let him look at the animals.

I’ve been in a bit of a funk lately and I’m trying to cling to the things that are good and true in my life. Things like family days, Sam having a job that enables me to stay at home with Bud, the most heart-melting gummy smiles from my offspring, and Grace that enables me to stand when I should be falling on my face every day.

I pray you live in that Grace today. We don’t deserve it, but God knows we have it.
